Double Take

My sister and I were obsessed with the Olsen Twins circa 2000. I still am!! Maybe just not as committed and stalkery as to checking fan sites every day and buying every magazine they were in. My sister was Mary-Kate for the grungy, “I don’t care” look, while I was Ashley for the simple, ultra-girly style—the epitome of wannabes. We would have photo-shoots with our disposable camera (yes, it was that long ago) and we would try to emulate their style to their facial expression and their body language. Although, getting the photos developed was a big disappointment ha.
I really love MK&A’s hobo-chic street style but decided instead to focus on their formal “wear”. I love how they complement each other’s fashion.

Sweater Weather

An autumnal necessity: sweaters. Seriously, only Kate Bosworth can pull off a sweater and still make it stylish.

…and only I have the time to spend two hours to make a collage. #nolife

Falling Again

If only I could add these items to my non-existing fall wardrobe. I just need to learn how to save my money, instead of going to Trader Joe’s and buying a week’s worth of food (but always lasts a day) or getting Pinkberry and Starbucks on a daily basis then maybe I can afford these.

A faux fur vest, leather jacket in black/camel brown/grey, floral or printed leggings, scarves in every color imaginable, cute sandals, jumpsuits, Dr. Martens boots, jean jacket, coatigans and modern kimonos, and I think I’m on my headband and head wrap obsession again (I have 16 on my online shopping cart right now).

I usually spend hours upon hours on my laptop looking for clothes I like or at least be creepy that whenever I go out and I see a person wearing something I like, I would take a picture of them very sneakily (I’d like to think so) then I would search Google with “that” image instead of text. By far, the best update ever on Google.

The saying goes “Just because it looks good on the hanger doesn’t mean it will look good on you.” Or in my case, just because it looks good on another person doesn’t mean it will look good on me. I honestly hate trying clothes on at stores so I would just buy it and hope for the best. Never ends well.

So maybe, some of these items will never exist in my closet.
