Lately

Well one thing is sure: me and consistent blogging sucks. I’m back to the blogosphere again after a five month hiatus since the days started getting longer again, high-school got in the way, lazy days took over my life as I spent my days with hair in a bundled knotty mess, no make-up on, wore clothes that made me comfy yet looked so sloppy, sat by my couch eating chocolate covered potato chips and/or my favorite Firecracker popsicles, if not that–I’d be going out to a nearby fast-food restaurant. Literally three months straight that I acted the world was going to end the next day. After months of things falling into place, everything just got better. But ohhh man life is so good right now, I wouldn’t want it any other way.

What I’ve been up to the past few months:

In the desolate Palm Springs: Went to the dessert during Coachella season… without going to Coachella. But instead I spent it poolside for a week. I promise myself in a year or two, I’d be coachillin’ back at palmy!
Neony Hike: Fashion statements at the beach. Neons. Awesome. Extra points though for dreading the weather with make-up on and the stench of the ocean while posing for every photo that we could get.
Too much PDA: I really get grossed out when I see couple PDA, I try not to do it with my boyfriend which gets him upset but obviously for every photo gotta look sweet. I must be the most annoying person ever to be with.
Happy Birthday To Me: Spent my eighteenth birthday at a sushi restaurant, my favorite place with my favorite people.
Senior Promy: It was June—you know what that meant. It’s supposed to be the time of your life… the time-honored tradition of prom was back again. The dress, heels, corsages and like many people I captured my pre-prom with 300+ photos within an hour. Sentimental cheesy photos are the best!
Goodbye Banquet: Tore my closet upside down just to look for an appropriate dress for a goodbye banquet I decided to go on to thirty minutes prior to the dinner. Mind me, I’m saying goodbye banquet because I’m too ashamed to say that I was a yearbook yerd for three years! Met so many great people and lifelong friends.
Teenagey Graduation: So sad this chapter of my life is over but so excited. Best day. Bestest best best day. Liberation!
Reunited: So much catching up! I love my friends—no matter where they go or how successful they get (crossing my fingers) they will still and always be my closest friends.

Palos Verdes and Griffith Park hiking, beach daze etc.

Couldn’t really ask for better memories, weather or company. Also since there’s no point to reading this since these photos demonstrate what I’ve been up to.
