It baffles me when people ask, how I keep my hair so healthy. As if. Actually, I don’t obey any of the “hair care commandments,” if there is one. I straighten my hair with 450 degrees of heat every single day, I use dry shampoo way too often (TMI!) and I don’t get a hair cut or a trim every 2-3 months, instead I wait about 3 years. I guess laziness does do good at times.
On a sour note, my hair is extremely curly, thick and untamable. And it can’t be dyed in any other color. I’ve tried everything, no joke. Revlon, Garnier Fructis, Clairol, L’Oreal Sublime Mousse, and was extremely disappointed by John Freida Precision Foam Color which was about $12 a box… And with my hair I needed three boxes. That didn’t work either. So obviously, I had to do it. I went to a salon to get my whole hair colored–medium ash brown. Sad to say, that didn’t work for the umpteenth time. My hair is still black… I guess sometimes “some things aren’t meant to be changed.”

But your hair doesn’t look thick and untamable! I saw your hair unstraightened one day at school and it looked godess-like. So wavy and wispy and feminine..!
And before dying your hair with the dye-kits, have you tried stripping your natural hair color off with bleach, etc.? That might allow some of the color you want to dye your hair with to seep through…(although I’m so curious to know why you’d want to dye it any other color! It’s such a flattering ashy, dark-brown color&& I’ve been trying to get my hair that shade for many unsuccessful years…)
cute cute post! xx
